Entity Reference module was merged into core just this week leading up to Backdrop LIVE! What's next for making references a fully integrated part of Backdrop core?
References are one of the key features of a structured content management system, and having Entity Reference in core will enable tighter integration with Views, Layouts, the Entity system, and other parts of Backdrop.
This session we'll recap the capabilities of Entity Reference, gaps in implementation, and migration from previous reference modules like "Node Reference" and "User Reference" (from the "References" project), and the Backdrop-specific "Reference" module.
