The Institute furthers these ends by holding its Annual Meeting in early January in Berkeley, California, to share and discuss research. Due to the global pandemic, this year's Annual Meeting was held entirely online. The new IAS website, built on Backdrop CMS, was fundamental in facilitating the online event.

  • The website itself is multi-lingual, with most pages available in both English and Spanish.
  • The organization runs a conference every year known as the "Annual Meeting" and uses event registration tool to manage registration via the website, and uses the registration status to grant access to videos and zoom links for the current year's event.
