This is probably a big enough

This is probably a big enough topic on it's own, but perhaps mention Pantheon as well? It looks like a quick way to try Backdrop without getting into hosting environments, installation etc.?

If you are updating a live, existing site on shared hosting, the complexities of the Dev->Test->Live model seem excessive. But having used it, I can see it has a lot of benefits.

    I would like to demonstrate

I would like to demonstrate the CSS Editor module, which is a CSS injector, and has a preview. It is also installed per theme.

How do we actually attend the session? I didn't receive any links in an invitation? Should I be looking in my spam, or it is a specific link?

I would like to know how to migrate from Drupal 7 to Backdrop CMS. I just start using a system base one Drupal 7, knowing the process to migrate will be very useful.

All you need for this session

All you need for this session is a desire to learn!  Lurkers can just listen in and follow along.  Participants need a computer with access to a terminal program.

We'll work together and share our experiences as we learn something new and exciting!

Do you need server access to create a static copy of a site with WGET or could someone create a Demo site on BackdropCMS.org and then create a static version of it with WGET?

    Never thought about Wordpress

Never thought about Wordpress to Backdrop.  I guess it wouldn't be much different than Wordpress to Drupal 7?

    I'm really looking forward to

I'm really looking forward to learning more about how to use OBS with Zoom. Steve (DrAlbany) has done some impression things during Zoom meetings and at the last Backdrop LIVE.

Hopefully, we'll get to see the bunnies again.

I've been using OBS studio to create my Simplo screencasts. What I've learned is that OBS is not a good tool for editing video, I'm using KdenLive for that (as a Linux user). I'd be interested in feedback or alternatives to the process I'm using of combining OBS and KdenLive.

That's great, maybe someone could also mention Client Side Date Field Formatter, which achieves something similar

I WILL at least mention it. Hopefully, I can demo both at the same time. But, first I'll have to try "Client Side Date Field Formatter". ;-) It's on my list of things to do.

I am very interested in this

I am very interested in this topic.  We are working on two platforms, devPanel and Pantheon, and I see some variations in how to handle migrations based on tools that are available.

    I think I'll plan on

I think I'll plan on demonstrating the User Time Zone Tokens module.

That's great, maybe someone could also mention Client Side Date Field Formatter, which achieves something similar (even better IMO) without additional dependencies or extra libraries. ;-)

For me that slot is at 5 in the morning, so I won't attend.
